Claim your federal scholarship tax credit

Americans have asked for school choice for over 70 years, and now it’s a reality! Taxpayers from all states now have access to the Federal Scholarship Tax Credit (FSTC).

Starting in 2027, individual donors can give up to $1,700 to fund scholarships and other educational expenses for K-12 students attending public schools, private schools, religious schools and home schools. Married taxpayers filing jointly can give $3,400 per year.

Qualifying donors then receive a dollar for dollar tax credit from the IRS. Watch our educational videos for more details, and to see if you qualify (most taxpayers qualify).

Some states have opted out of the FSTC program. Taxpayers from opt out states can still donate and receive a tax credit, but they will have to send their donation to a state that has opted in.

MultiplyGood is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that connects FSTC donors with scholarship granting organizations. Our website encourages groups of donors to give together, track their impact, and earn rewards for the 501(c)(3) nonprofit they represent.
